Hello! I’m Tracy
I founded Undermountain Partners to help people in the “sandwich generation” make space for healing amid loss.
When my father died in 2023, it felt impossible to accommodate my grief while balancing the demands of parenting and my career as a leader in fintech. I couldn’t find the time and bandwidth to grapple with the loss.
Since then, I’ve witnessed many of my high achieving peers in the sandwich generation say goodbye to people they love too. And like me, they’ve been too busy to process loss, make time for healing, or seek meaning amid all their other responsibilities.
These experiences changed how I think about death and what people need in its immediate aftermath.
The period following a death brings intense emotional strain alongside the burden of navigating unfamiliar, high-stakes legal and financial tasks. I believe that it can also be a time to reflect and connect, but only if people are given space to engage with their loss. That space is too often cluttered by the practical demands of settling a loved one’s affairs.
Undermountain Partners exists to support the work that comes after a loss, giving executors the space to attend to the emotional weight of loss and begin to heal.
